The wildfires that have plagued the Pacific Northwest this summer hit home for the Hargis family as the Columbia River Gorge, one of our most cherished natural destinations, is now charred due to a senseless act.
After seeing the devastation of the wildfire, we felt compelled to take action to assist in the protection and future restoration efforts of this unique Pacific Northwest treasure.
The Hargis family (employees, family, and friends) have come together to offer their artwork to benefit Friends of the Columbia Gorge (FCG), a non-profit organization that is dedicated to protecting and maintaining the Columbia River Gorge through restoration projects, land trusts, stewardship, and policy development.

Richard Rhee is a mechanical engineer with the K-12 schools group at Hargis. His passion lies in landscape and nature photography, but he's also been known to dabble in silk screening and used to tour around the country in a hardcore band. Richard can often be found in the wilderness at 2AM shooting the Milky Way on days that his two year old hasn't already run him ragged.

Angela Kelly is an engineer at Hargis. She has spent her entire life in the Pacific Northwest and her paintings represent her love of the outdoors whether hiking or camping with her husband and son. She has experimented with several mediums but fell in love with encaustic painting. By combining oil paint with wax and resin, she is able to create a unique, luxurious quality to her paintings other mediums are unable to replicate. Her current work is of the Enchantments in the Alpine Lake Wilderness area in Washington State.
David Olson is a mechanical engineer with the K-12 schools group at Hargis. When not brewing beer in his spare time, he enjoys nature photography. His passion for photography started in his first year at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana while hiking and wanting to capture the amazing scenery.
Greg Reher is an electrical and telecommunications project manager currently responsible for both brick-and-morter and e-commerce retail projects at Hargis. When not traveling and photographing cityscapes and nature Greg can be found seeking out vintage cameras for his collection and looking for bucket list food and beverage experiences.
Shannon Wick is an electrical designer with Hargis' commercial group. She will be the first to admit that her love of yarn might be more of an addiction. Her grandmother taught her to crochet at the age of five and she has been creating with yarn ever since. While her specialty is scarves and baby blankets, she does also create full size lap blankets, bed blankets, and shoulder wraps.
Bryton Wilson is a member of the extended Hargis family and a recent Portland State Graduate working in the tech industry in Portland, OR. Though his focus for this year has centered on portrait and wedding photography, he is most passionate about capturing landscapes both on the ground and in the air with his drone.
