Hey Maria!

Here’s the 2016 set at Olympic Sculpture Park. We liked the contrast and pop of Ethan’s jacket on these, plus the shots all look natural. We used the first image as our postcard cover and really liked this one.

This is the 2017 set at Golden Gardens. We also loved these three photos and used the first photo as our holiday card’s cover. The pose is similar to the one in 2016 but it looks lovely and natural.

2018 set: Discovery Park. The light was gorgeous but Ethan REALLY did not want to participate in this one so we were a little stiff in the group photos. We now give the kids little wiggle breaks between shots and bribe the children with gummy bears. I’m realizing that the full body posed shot where we were standing up like this is not my cup of tea. The second one where we were squatting down together felt a little more natural.

2019 set, Gasworks on film. This was our favorite set with all four of us. We would go digital next time, some of the medium format B&Ws with intense film grain wasn’t printable.

2020 set. We didn’t love the group shots as much but the kids did well. Again, the full-body posed shots were a bit stiff (our bad) and the processing looked a little too cool to my eye.
